Food Bank Corpus Christi

Thank You, South Texas

Once again, our generous friends and neighbors from throughout the Coastal Bend Area came together to help families in need combat hunger. Hosted by KIII-TV and H-E-B, the 22nd Annual "Share Your Christmas" Food Drive was an overwhelming success!

The live telecast on Friday, December 4 garnered a total of 72,926 pounds of food and $35,625 in cash donations. We also received an additional $65,000 from the H-E-B "Share Your Christmas" coupons, which were located at each store's cash register.

Over 3,500 Christmas baskets made the holidays much brighter for less fortunate families throughout our area. On behalf of the KIII-TV, H-E-B and the Food Bank of Corpus Christi, we express our sincere thanks to the numerous schools, businesses, individuals and other groups that contributed to our success!
