The driving spirit behind Tennessee Pipeline Construction is Jimmy
C. Adair. At age 16, he started working various oilfield jobs. He
was soon able to fulfill
his major ambition and started his own pipeline construction business in
Premont in the mid 1950’s. Dottie joined Tennessee Pipeline
in 1986 and has worked along side Jimmy in all of his endeavors.
Jimmy and Dottie have four sons, Brad, Matt, Preston and Scott; six
grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A dedicated, caring and
busy couple, Jimmy and
Dottie Adair actively support many South Texas and Coastal Bend A&H
Shows, Food Banks and Pantries, various local and area school programs,
chamber
of commerce
endeavors, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, United Way, Sinton For Youth Scholarships
and countless youth activities, as well as being faithful members of River
Hills Baptist Church.
Dottie is currently a board member of the Del Mar College Development Foundation,
Coastal Bend Council of Government’s Affordable Housing Committee, and
San Patricio Economic Development Corporation. She is actively involved in San
Patricio County’s Fairground Complex, an annual Mexico mission trip with
her church, Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Sinton and a Paul Harris Fellow;
Inaugural Event Chairman for American Cancer Society’s Odem-Sinton-Taft
Relay for Life, as well as a member of E. Merle Smith Jr. High’s
Site Base Committee
Jimmy and Dottie Adair and Tennessee Pipeline are proud supporters of the
Valero Texas Open and Children’s Charity Benefit Golf Tournaments.
In conjunction with the Valero Texas Open, Tennessee has sponsored a pro-am
golf tournament
for the last four years. In the last two years alone, Tennessee Pipeline
has donated $50,000 to The Food Bank of Corpus Christi for the benefit
of San Patricio
County Food Pantries.
